Settings > Common:

FTP connection:
FTP Host: Hostname or IP address of the FTP server.
FTP Port: Port number (default 21; SFTP default 22).
Connection mode: active, passive, automatic, SFTP or local.
FTPS Connection: Enables encrypted FTPS (explicit mode, TLS).
FTP User / FTP Password: Login credentials for the FTP server.
FTP root directory: The root path on the FTP server (e.g. /media).
FTP initial directory: The directory shown when first opening the FTP tab.

Root path mapping:
The lower part of the Common tab maps virtual FTP paths to the matching drive paths on the RadioBOSS machine. This also supports music libraries spread across several drives.

The list shows all mappings, one per line as "virtual path, RadioBOSS drive, local path". Use the arrow keys to select an entry; the three fields below then show its values.

Fields:
- Virtual path: the path as shown by the FTP/SFTP server, e.g. /E/ or /srv/audio/.
- RadioBOSS drive: the matching drive path on the RadioBOSS machine, e.g. e:\. It is needed so that database search hits (whose paths refer to the RadioBOSS machine) map correctly.
- Local path: only needed in local mode (studio mode) - the path where RemotePLE reaches the same files on this machine, e.g. N:\.

Buttons:
- Add: creates a new mapping from the fields. If the virtual path is empty, it is suggested from the drive letter (e.g. e:\ gives /E/).
- Update: updates the mapping selected in the list with the field values.
- Delete: removes the selected mapping. The last remaining mapping cannot be deleted.

Virtual path and RadioBOSS drive must not be empty, and each virtual path may appear only once.

Note: Mapping across several drives works over FTP only if the FTP server access sits above the individual drives (so the drives appear as subdirectories). In local mode this is not required.

The RadioBOSS API and database settings are on the RadioBOSS tab.
